General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

§ 1 Scope of Application

(1.1) Terminal Apartments, represented by Nadja Remann, operates the website at https://terminal-apartments.de. Through this platform, Terminal Apartments offers guests the opportunity to rent apartments.
The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services offered by Terminal Apartments. Any deviating terms or conditions will not be recognized unless expressly approved in writing by Terminal Apartments.

(1.2) Any terms and conditions of the guest shall only apply if they have been expressly agreed upon in advance. Deviations from these GTC are only valid if confirmed in writing by the owner listed in the legal notice (imprint).

§ 2 Booking and Booking Confirmation

Booking requests can be made in the following ways:

  • Directly through the booking form on this website
  • By email to info@terminal-apartments.de
  • By phone (number listed in the imprint)
  • Via WhatsApp (number listed in the imprint)

Terminal Apartments does not guarantee that booking requests which have not been confirmed in writing can be considered.

§ 3 Conclusion of Contract

(3.1) The guest’s booking request is made directly to Terminal Apartments. All further communication also takes place exclusively between Terminal Apartments and the guest or between the guest and the host.

ia www.terminal-apartments.de, the guest accepts the prices and all other terms, including these GTC. The accommodation contract between the guest and the host becomes legally binding upon payment and confirmation of the booking.

(3.2) Payment of the total amount must be made in advance, depending on the payment method selected by the guest, using one of the available online payment options. In any case, the booking must be paid before arrival.
Cash payments on site are possible only in exceptional cases and must be requested and confirmed in advance.

(3.3) Payment Default:
Payment is considered overdue if it has not been received at least 7 days before arrival.

  • 1st Reminder: 7 days after arrival – reminder fee €10
  • 2nd Reminder: 14 days after arrival – additional reminder fee €10
  • 3rd Reminder: 21 days after arrival – additional reminder fee €10

From the 28th day, the claim will be transferred to a collection agency. All resulting costs and reminder fees shall be borne by the guest.

(3.4) Changes to an existing booking or follow-up bookings may be possible, provided they are requested before the day of arrival.

(3.5) Subletting or transferring the rented accommodation, as well as using it for purposes other than accommodation, is strictly prohibited.

§ 4 Arrival and Departure

(4.1) On the day of arrival, the apartment will be available from 4:00 p.m.
Key handover takes place contactlessly (detailed access instructions are provided in the booking confirmation).
No claims for compensation can be made if the apartment is not ready for occupancy exactly at 4:00 p.m.
On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. The host reserves the right to charge for late or unannounced departures.

(4.2) Early check-in or late check-out is available upon request and subject to availability.

(4.2.1) Early Check-in
Available upon request at €10 per hour until 12:00 p.m. (e.g. check-in at 1:00 p.m. = €30).
Check-in between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. costs €85, as the previous night must be blocked for other guests.
For an earlier check-in before 8:00 a.m., a full additional night must be booked.

(4.2.2) Late Check-out
Available upon request at €10 per hour (e.g. check-out at 1:00 p.m. = €30).
Between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., the fee is €85, as the following night must be blocked for other guests.
Stays beyond 6:00 p.m. require booking an additional night.

§ 5 Condition of the Apartment

(5.1) The apartment is handed over by Terminal Apartments in a clean and orderly condition with complete inventory.
Any defects must be reported immediately after check-in. Damages occurring during the stay must also be reported without delay.
The guest is liable for all damages caused by them to the property or its inventory (e.g. flooring, furniture, or equipment).
All furnishings must be treated with care and are intended solely for use within the apartment. The guest is also responsible for any damage caused by accompanying persons.

(5.2) Rearranging furniture, especially beds, is not permitted.

§ 6 Additional Guests

(6.1) The apartment is intended exclusively for the persons listed in the booking.
Additional guests must be communicated to the host in writing prior to arrival and require the host’s approval.
A fee of €25 per additional overnight guest per night applies.
For unregistered guests, a contractual penalty of €100 (net) per person and day will be charged.

(6.2) Entry to the apartment by persons not listed in the booking is only permitted upon prior registration and approval by the host.

§ 7 Dogs

(7.1) The possibility of accommodating dogs varies depending on the apartment and can be found in the respective apartment description or requested in advance.
Accommodation of dogs is only permitted with prior written consent from Terminal Apartments (represented by Nadja Remann).
A daily fee applies (see section 7.2). Discounts for longer stays must be agreed upon in advance and confirmed in writing.

If animals are brought without prior approval, a cleaning and violation fee of €75 per animal per night (net) will be charged.
Dogs must be house-trained, may not be left unattended in the apartment, and are not allowed on beds or sofas.
A dog bed is provided.
A refundable security deposit of €150 must be paid prior to arrival. The deposit will be refunded after proper return of the apartment – free of urine stains, excessive pet hair on the sofa, or waste left in the garden.

(7.2) Dog fees:

  • Day 1–7: €15 per dog/night
  • From day 8: €10 per dog/night
  • From one month: €8 per dog/night
§ 8 Duration of Stay

The apartment may only be used during the booked period.

§ 9 Cancellations

(9.1) Cancellations must be made in writing.
If no cancellation is made, the agreed total price must still be paid even if the guest does not make use of the accommodation.

(9.2) In the event of a cancellation, the following fees apply, based on the total booking price:

Full refund if the check-in date is at least 15 days in the future.

50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before arrival.

No refund for cancellations made within 7 days prior to arrival.

(9.3) Special Conditions:
If a guest wishes to secure a free cancellation option up to the day of arrival, this can be arranged by paying an additional service fee. Terminal Apartments must be informed immediately after booking. Otherwise, the above-mentioned cancellation policy applies.

(9.4) Cancellations by the Host:
Cancellations by Terminal Apartments are only permitted for valid reasons, such as violations of these GTC.

(9.4.1) Terminal Apartments reserves the right to exercise its house rules and refuse or cancel a booking. Guests have no right of withdrawal in this case.

(9.4.2) In case of cancellation by the host due to force majeure (e.g. water damage) or other unforeseeable circumstances beyond the host’s control that make performance of the contract impossible, Terminal Apartments will refund the full booking amount (or a pro-rated amount if the stay is already in progress).
There is no entitlement to additional compensation.

§ 10 Liability of the Host

Liability of Terminal Apartments towards the guest is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
In particular, Terminal Apartments is not liable for any damages caused by the guest or vice versa.
Data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be error-free or continuously available under the current state of technology.
Therefore, the host does not guarantee permanent and uninterrupted accessibility of its website and is not liable for technical failures beyond its control.

§ 11 Events and Parties

Events and parties are not permitted in the apartment.
In case of violation, a contractual penalty of up to €750 will be charged.

§ 12 Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or the building’s hallway.
Violations will incur a cleaning fee of €150.

§ 13 Noise

Quiet hours apply from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. During this time, please keep noise levels to a minimum and maintain room volume.

§ 14 Severability Clause

Should one or more provisions of these GTC become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
The invalid provision shall be replaced by one that comes as close as possible to the economic intent of the original.

§ 15 Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions

By completing a booking, the guest accepts these General Terms and Conditions as well as the house rules of Terminal Apartments, represented by Nadja Remann.
No separate written confirmation is required.
In the event of violations of these GTC or the house rules, the host reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately and without notice.
There is no right to a refund or compensation.
